Ball fitting

What ball, and what for.

The ball is the only thing you use on every shot, and the cheapest equipment decision you’ll make. Four questions and you’ll get an answer at three price points, plus an honest account of what the extra money buys. It buys greenside spin. It barely buys distance.

The easiest question here to answer honestly, so it’s the one we’d rather have. Skip it if you never get near 150.

Yards in the air, on a good strike. Leave it blank if you don’t know and we’ll estimate.

If you’ve ever been on a launch monitor. Beats the carry distance.

I left the speed blank — what else helps?

Only used if you gave us neither a carry distance nor a clubhead speed. Both are optional.

Do the full club fitting →   Lie angle, length, shaft, loft, bounce, grips, putter and a full build sheet. It includes this ball recommendation.
